Florin Secanu
General Manager of XIPE Interactive, a company established as a partnership between F5 and Senior Interactive, which develops and manages two joint projects: AutoNovo.ro and Sincron - Recruitment Software.

He has been working in the online industry since August 2005, when he took over the position of New Business & Strategy Director within Senior Interactive, which he occupied until December of the following year. During that time, he was responsible, among others, for developing and launching the jobbing.ro portal and re-launching comunicatedepresa.ro.
In January 2007, he became Managing Director of Senior Interactive, coordinating 25 people and managing renowned clients such as Heineken Romania, Philip Morris, Renault, Henkel or Unilever. At the beginning of 2008, Florin Secanu took over the position of Strategy Planning Director responsible for Senior’s key accounts and portfolio.
He joined Realitatea-Catavencu Group in November 2008, when he was appointed General Manager of Xipe Interactive, a company where F5 is a shareholder.
Prior to his online career, he worked in aerospace engineering, being first a researcher at Laboratory of Lightweight Structures, HUT – Helsinki, Finland (2000-2002), then composite product development engineer within PATRIA Aerostructures – Tampere, Finland (October 2002 – April 2005) and finally composite structural design consultant at ASCO – Brussels, Belgium (April – July 2005).
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the University Politechnica of Bucharest, and has a master’s degree in “Mechanic Engineering” awarded by the Helsinki University of Technology, in Finland.
