He started his career 7 years ago, as web designer in the most innovative and dynamic web development team, Kondiment Group GmbH. He was then Creative Group Manager with Halo Interactive, the Romanian subsidiary of Faryna & Associates Inc. from the USA.

In January 2007, he joined the New Media division of Realitatea-Catavencu Group as project manager, being thus involved in the coordination and development of several projects, in particular in the business area, such as Tmctv.ro or Standard.ro.

Gabriel Ilie took over the leadership of the web development operations once he was appointed Head of Web Development on November 1st, 2008, and he now holds the same position in the newly established F5, the Group’s web company.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Automations and Computers within the Bucharest Polytechnic University and holds a master’s degree in Project IT Management, Faculty of Cybernetics, Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest.
